FGKU Rosgranstroy, subordinate to the Ministry of Transport of Russia, plans to create an integrated checkpoint system (IPS) across the state border of the Russian Federation with Azerbaijan at the Yarag-Kazmalyar multilateral automobile checkpoint (MACP) in Dagestan. The FSUE Zashchitainfotrans, which is subordinate to the Ministry of Transport, was also chosen as the procurement contractor. The purchase was carried out in the form of a request for quotation. The initial price was 300 million rubles, but according to the results of the procedure, the creation of an ISP will cost Rosgranstroi 227 million rubles, as follows from the data on the government procurement website.
According to the procurement documents, the creation of the ISP will help automate the collection of data when vehicles travel through the international checkpoint and reduce financial and labor costs by simplifying information interaction. The system will collect, process, analyze and store photographic materials, car license plate data, weight and dimensional data of cargo vehicles (vehicles) and control results data, according to the terms of reference.
