An educational and production IT cluster opened in Krasnodar

One hundred first-year students of the “Center for the Development of Digitalization of the Krasnodar Territory” began training in the educational programs of the “Professionality” project. IT specialists will be trained for the country’s largest energy holding En+, which was founded by Oleg Deripaska.

The opening of the cluster was attended by First Deputy Minister of Education, Science and Youth Policy Sergey Pronko, Head of the Ust-Labinsk District Stanislav Gainyuchenko, Director of the Ust-Labinsk Social and Pedagogical College Mikhail Kurkin and Deputy Director General for Information Technology and Digital Transformation En+ Dmitry Khalin.

“The uniqueness of this cluster lies in the fact that IT technologies are an extremely demanded industry today. Only in the Krasnodar Territory there are more than 1 thousand vacancies in this area. In this project, we have a federal partner – an employer who works throughout Russia. Therefore, great career opportunities are opening up for our students, and the partner company will be interested in such specialists,” Sergei Pronko said.

The IT cluster program is based on three areas – computer systems, cybersecurity, web design and software development.

“Our company is certainly interested in qualified young people who will soon be able to join the ranks of specialists aimed at solving large-scale tasks facing the country’s power industry today. We see a very large field for applying their knowledge of digitalization and IT technologies,” Dmitry Khalin summed up.
