The force of tremors in the Caspian Sea reached 4 points
The Seismological Service of Azerbaijan reported that an earthquake with a magnitude of 4 points hit the Caspian Sea early this morning.
“An earthquake of magnitude 4 occurred in the Caspian Sea at a depth of 60 km. The aftershocks were recorded at 04.56,” the ministry said in a statement.
An earthquake similar in strength was noted earlier by the seismic service of the republic at the end of November last year. At that time, the epicenter of tremors with a force of 4.2 points was also located in the sea, but at a depth of 61 km.
