Athlete of the Nordman club Alexandra Vasilyeva became the champion of Russia in table tennis among persons with a lesion of the musculoskeletal system. The founder of the club, Yuri Sorokin, announced this on his page on the social network VKontakte.
Yuri Sorokin called the tournament in the city of Aleksino, Tula region, “important and representative” – almost 100 participants from 32 regions of Russia came to the competition. Alexandra Vasilyeva became the champion of these competitions for the third time in a row, and for the seventh time in her sports career.
Yury Sorokin expressed special gratitude to the coach of the champion, master of sports Vadim Baryshnikov. He also noted that all members of the Nordman club help the athlete in training, acting as her sparring partners.
