A native of the Purovsky district, and now a resident of the Tazovsky district, Vladimir Pyak set a record of the Russian Federation at the All-Russian competitions in the northern all-around. This was reported on March 24 in the press service of the municipal administration.
An athlete in throwing a tynzyan on a trochee made 333 hits in one attempt, which became a new record.
Recall that the competitions are held in Magadan. The honor of the Arctic region is defended by 22 all-rounders from Salekhard, Shuryshkarsky, Yamalsky, Tazovsky, Purovsky and Priuralsky districts. All of them are winners and prize-winners of district competitions.
