An athlete from St. Petersburg took second place at the main start of Russia among juniors

St. Petersburg athlete Elizaveta Kovalenko was among the best young show jumpers in Russia. The girl showed the best result of the city at the main start of the country among juniors.
Elizabeth was paired with a horse named Sam. The young sportswoman managed to win a silver medal in the category “Boys and Girls” (LL) of the Individual and Team Championship of Russia in show jumping among children, youths and juniors.
The competition lasted three days. Elizaveta showed the best result among Petersburgers. Earlier, at the same competitions, city teams won third and fifth places in the categories of Boys and Girls (LL) and Boys and Girls (HL).
In addition, another young St. Petersburg resident, Maxim Domanchuk, won the repechage route for children with an obstacle height of 120 centimeters. Personal-Team Championship of Russia was held in the Tver region and ended on September 11th.
