An athlete from Khakassia won bronze at the Russian Athletics Championships

According to the Ministry of Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan, from January 29 to 31, the national indoor athletics championship among boys and girls under 18 years old was held in Ulyanovsk. 750 athletes took part in the competition.
The athletes competed in running: 60 meters, 60 hurdles, 400 meters, 1500 meters, 2000 meters, 2000 meters hurdles and 3000 meters, 3000 meters walking, triple jump, high jump, long jump and pole jump, shot put , 4 x 400 relay.
Ksenia Lyzhina from Khakassia won the bronze medal at the Russian Championship at a distance of three thousand meters with a result of 10:14.97, losing to Karina Yanshaeva from the Republic of Bashkortostan – 10:10.88 and Vasilina Strelkova from the Udmurt Republic – 10:02.82.
The athlete trains at the Abakan sports school of the Olympic reserve in athletics under the leadership of Dmitry Semenov and Marina Skorinova.
