An artificial snowmaking system will appear at the Malinovka ski center

In the coming years, the Malinovka ski center in the Ustyansky district will undergo large-scale transformations. There will be a new hotel complex with 80 rooms, a modern ski stadium and a new wastewater treatment plant.

According to the press service of the regional government, the development of design and estimate documentation for the construction of a ski stadium has already begun. The project includes asphalt work on the starting field and the construction of a stadium building with a gym, medical office, stands and administrative offices.

Also, 120 million rubles have been allocated from the federal budget for the construction of a hotel with 80 rooms. And by 2026 they plan to equip the ski base with modern equipment. For example, an artificial snowmaking system and snow compaction equipment. The engineering infrastructure will also be updated. For example, it will have its own boiler house, treatment facilities and water treatment plants. Work is also planned on the construction of additional ski and roller ski trails.

Now the sports center is preparing to host the Russian Ski Championships, which will take place on March 15-25, 2024.
