A citizen of the United States and Taiwan, Alice Day, who was fined today for an illegal rally with a calf on Red Square, again appeared before the court. This time, she faces punishment under Article 19.3 Part 1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses – “Disobedience to the lawful order of a police officer.”
According to an MK correspondent from the Tverskoy Court, the essence of the second accusation against Day was that she refused to enter the building of the police department. This time the American refused to admit her guilt. She claims that when she was told: “Remove the animal”, she immediately handed over the calf to the driver, after which she followed the instructions of the police officers. And she was ready to show the documents.
During the second administrative case, it turned out that Day has US and Taiwan citizenship, was born in Jersey and graduated from the University of Education.
The second time, the court was less merciful to Day (she had previously been fined 20,000 rubles for holding an unauthorized rally) and sentenced her to administrative arrest for 13 days.
