The prosecutor’s office of St. Petersburg sent to court an administrative case on public calls to violate the territorial integrity of Russia (part 2 of article 20.3.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation), the press service of the department reported. They did not specify the name of the person against whom the case was initiated. By information “Kommersant-SPb”, we are talking about the rapper Oxxxymiron (Miron Fedorov, recognized as a foreign agent). The case was initiated because of the track “Oida” and the video for it.
The materials were sent to the Oktyabrsky District Court of St. Petersburg. The date of the meeting has not yet been set. Was there in December directed a lawsuit to ban the same song from distribution in Russia and restrict access to it on streaming services. The preliminary meeting is scheduled for January 9, 2023. The League of Free Internet of Ekaterina Mizulina complained about the track.
The track “Oida” was released in September 2022. It contains the lines “Ingria will be free.” Ingria is a historical region in the north-west of Russia.
