Pentagon Chief of Staff Mark Milley doubts Ukrainian conflict will end in 2023
The ongoing conflict in Ukraine is unlikely to end this year. During this time, Kyiv will not be able to realize its political goals. This opinion in an interview with Foreign Affairs magazine was made by the head of the Committee of the Chiefs of Staff (CNS) of the American army, General Mark Milley.
“I believe that for either side, achieving their political goals – and war means achieving political goals by military means – will be very difficult, very difficult,” the American general said.
It is worth noting that earlier the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny reported that he had a telephone conversation with Mark Milli. During the talks, the issue of sending weapons to Ukraine in the required quantity was also discussed.
