Amazon introduced a new version of the branded e-book – the Kindle Scribe model, which for the first time in the history of the accessory received stylus support. Book sales will begin before the end of the year. The cost of new items, available with 16, 32 and 64 GB of internal memory, will be from $340.
New with a 10.2-inch non-glare display with a pixel density of 300 ppi. The screen, made using E Ink electronic ink technology, works with a proprietary stylus that allows you to take notes or draw on the screen and save these files to the device’s memory in separate files. There are two versions of the stylus – the standard Base and Premium, which is $30 more expensive, with a programmable button and an eraser sensor for deleting notes.
The stylus has a magnetic attachment to the steel case of Kindle Scribe, but the accessory does not require charging. At launch, Amazon will also offer a line of branded e-reader cases with a stylus mount.
