Almost 270 billion rubles will be spent on launching serial production of drones in Russia

The launch of serial production of drones and their components in Russia will require investments in the amount of 267 billion rubles. until 2030. This follows from the passport of the federal project “Development, standardization and serial production of unmanned aerial systems (UAS) and components”, prepared by the Ministry of Industry and Trade. The document is at the disposal of Vedomosti, its authenticity was confirmed by two interlocutors in the companies developing the UAV. The Ministry of Industry and Trade plans that 215 billion rubles. will allocate the federal budget, 16 billion – the regions, and the remaining 36.2 billion will be extra-budgetary sources.

The funds should be used to create new types of UAS, a network of research and production centers (NPCs) in the regions, which will provide a full cycle from development to certification and serial production of drones, as well as their integration into a single airspace, etc.
