Allergy sufferers were told ways to alleviate their condition during the flowering period, antihistamines, allergen-specific immunotherapy (ASIT) and household remedies will help, said Alexandra Filev, dermatovenereologist, expert of the Hemotest Laboratory.

In a conversation with Gazeta.ru, she said that ASIT is a gradual introduction of an allergen into the body in an increasing dosage, which gives the body the opportunity to adapt and eventually stop responding to the stimulus.

It is also possible to limit exposure to pollen as much as possible, for example by using protective masks or sunglasses.

The expert also recommended washing clothes after going out and more often wet cleaning the apartment.
