All-Russian skiing competitions were held in Monchegorsk

Big competitions in alpine skiing ended in Monchegorsk. About 250 athletes took part in them.
On Tuesday, March 14, the press service of the government of the Murmansk region announced the results of the All-Russian Alpine Skiing Competition for the Valery Tsyganov Prize.
There were races on the Nudaivench mountain in Monchegorsk. For five days, about 250 athletes from 19 regions of the country competed in slalom, giant slalom, super-G and combined.
In the team standings, the team of the Murmansk region was in third place. The victory was won by athletes from Moscow, in second place – the Leningrad region.
Another all-Russian competition will start at the ski complex of the Kirov School on March 15, the Murmansk region will host the Hopes of Russia.
Recall, earlier “MK in Murmansk” toldthat large orienteering competitions were held in Murmashy as part of the Polar Olympics.
