All-Russian karate competitions “Memory Cup” will be held in Penza

The event has been taking place in the Penza region for 8 years. This year the competition will take place this coming weekend: March 16th and 17th.
The venue will be the Voeikov martial arts palace. The opening ceremony of the All-Russian karate competition “Memory Cup” will be held at 13:00 on Saturday, March 16.
More than thousands of athletes from 31 regions of Russia will come to the competition in Penza.
“The tournament is dedicated to the memory of people who were involved in the development of karate in the Penza region and developed it throughout their lives. Among them are Vladimir Spiridonov, Alexey Cherepanov, Alexey Makarov, Arkady Krivtsov,” said the press service of the regional Ministry of Sports.
