All-Russian festival GlobalSupMania will be held on Sakhalin

August 13 on Lake Superior in the Yuzhno-Sakhalin Park of Culture and Recreation named after Yu.A. Gagarin will host a family sports festival GlobalSupMania, the geography of which this summer includes 11 cities.
GlobalSupMania is a family festival of nature, outdoor activities, water sports, music and vivid emotions, the main task of which is to promote a healthy lifestyle and unite people with an active lifestyle.
As part of the festival, amateur SUP competitions will be held in three categories:
- Sprints are a race against time in a straight line, carried out for elimination in several stages. Distance 100 meters. Swims are held for men, women and juniors (14-17 years old).
- Technical race – the race is held in the open class (any inflatable SUP board) at a distance of 400 meters with two right and one left turn. Swims are held for men and women separately, in the format of qualifying and final heats.
- Long distance – the race is held in the open class (inflatable supboard) on a long distance of 1000 meters in three laps. Swims for men and women.

- Participation is free
- Swimming distances are also suitable for beginners;
- It is possible to take part in only two competitive disciplines to choose from.
The winners and runners up will be awarded with designer medals and prizes. from Globaldrive and event partners.
Among absolutely all participants in the swim randomly there will be a special prize — two-layer SUP-board of increased strength with a full set from the brand MY SUP. Try your luck!
Timing of the day:
- 11:00-12:30 – registration of participants for the heats;
- 11:30-12:30 — SUP-yoga (by prior registration through the Organizers, without providing SUP-boards);
- 12:00-12:30 — free SUP-boarding workshop from Globaldrive;
- 12:30-12:40 — grand opening of the Festival;
- 12:40-13:30 – 100 m sprints (separately men, women, juniors) for elimination;
- 13:30-14:30 – technical race 400 m (separately men and women);
- 14:30-15:30 — long distance 1000 m (two laps, separate men and women)
- 11:00-15:30 — work of the balanceboard zone and partner zones, test drives of stand-up boards;
- 15:30-16:00 — SUP-board drawing among all participants of the swim, awarding the winner of the competition, closing of the Festival.
