Neuromusic is based on parts that were composed by a neural network and recorded on virtual instruments. They are melodies in the genres of rock, hip-hop, pop, electronica, etc. Tens of thousands of compositions and transitions are created from them, which form millions of variations. As a result, algorithms generate an endless melody in real time.
At the same time, the neural network is ready to listen to the tastes of the user. “The Yandex Music recommendation system also perfectly understands what parts Neuromusic consists of, and can focus on specific samples within it,” the press service explains. So, service subscribers can put likes and dislikes in the process of listening, and the neural network will try even better to please the user’s musical preferences.
Earlier, Yandex Music released an album with lullabies of the peoples of Russia called Tours to Cultures. In particular, the collection includes traditional songs of the Udmurts, Yakuts, Nenets and other residents of the country. The lullabies were performed by contemporary artists singing in the national language.
