Activist Borodin asked to check the actions of the artist Akhedzhakova because of the performance with the flag of Ukraine
Vitaly Borodin, head of the Federal Security and Anti-Corruption Project, again asked the Russian Prosecutor General’s Office to check the actions of actress Liya Akhedzhakova for discrediting the Russian army, writes “IA Regnum”.
Borodin also appealed to the department with a request to recognize Akhedzhakova as a foreign agent and deprive her of awards and honorary titles. He believes that Akhedzhakova’s possession of the awards and badges of honor that she was awarded in the Russian Federation “is incompatible with the nature of her public statements regarding the Russian Federation.”
The reason for Borodin’s appeal was the artist’s performance in Germany, where Akhedzhakova took the stage with the flag of Ukraine.
Earlier, Borodin had already applied to the Prosecutor General’s Office with a similar request. In April, he proposed to recognize Akhedzhakova as a foreign agent and initiate 3 criminal cases against her – under articles on discrediting the army, treason, as well as inciting hatred and enmity.
According to the activist, Liya Akhedzhakova announced in social networks about the financial support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. She allegedly transferred $10,000 to the Ukrainian army herself and urged others to follow her example.
Akhedzhakova refuted these allegations.
