The Office of Rospotrebnadzor in Moscow conducts laboratory monitoring of the state of air in the southern, southwestern and western regions of the capital, reported in press service departments. Former residents of the districts started complain on social networks about the smell of burning.
Laboratory control is carried out on an extended list of substances, including those that are characteristic of combustion. Air samples are checked in the branches of the Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology in Moscow in the administrative districts.
Earlier, Muscovites began to complain that the smell of burning had reached the capital due to forest fires in the Ryazan region. It was reported that smog was also visible in some areas of Moscow. Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said that he sent 240 employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations to the Ryazan region to extinguish fires.
