Advisor to the Minister of Defense said the need for “mental immunity” for young Russians and the military

Advisor to the Minister of Defense of Russia Andrey Ilnitsky believes that Russians, including young people and the composition of the armed forces of the Russian Federation, need “mental immunity.” Such an opinion was expressed by a military official in an article in the Arsenal of the Fatherland magazine, excerpts are cited “RIA News”.

Andrey Ilnitsky believes that the West is waging a “mental war” against Russia in order to “paralyze the will” and “occupy consciousness.” According to him, in this case, Russia needs “mental security.” “Mental immunity” and “mental hygiene” can become the main one for it.

“In order to defeat the West, we must first of all defeat it in our heads,” said the adviser to the Minister of Defense. He defined “mental hygiene” as a skill of independent work with information and critical thinking, which are developed “by the younger generation and personnel of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation” in the course of education and training: “what is called the ability to live one’s own mind, not passively consuming information, but actively working with her.”

Andrey Ilnitsky defined mental immunity as the ability of a person or society “to ensure its socio-cultural (mental) identity (habits, lifestyle, communication, etc.), as well as immunity to social rules and attitudes imposed from outside.”

In a previous article Andrey Ilnitsky told about the “mental blitzkrieg” against Russia, which Western countries tried to carry out in 2022. In his opinion, the “mental blitzkrieg” is aimed at paralyzing the will of the enemy, influencing the elite and the media in order to destroy state institutions, the army and law enforcement agencies with their hands.
