Actress Epple sued over massive euro debt

The plaintiff in 2010 lent money to the honored artist to buy an apartment

The well-known actress and TV presenter Jeanne Epple was sued by her friend in the Tverskoy District Court because of a huge debt.

As it became known to the MK, we are talking about a very large amount – 204 thousand euros, which is more than 12 and a half million rubles at the current exchange rate. The plaintiff is an old acquaintance of the actress who, back in 2010, lent money to Apple.

She met the artist on the project. Between the ladies there were friendly, and then friendly relations. In 2010, Epple had extremely difficult life circumstances, she left her husband and actually remained on the street with two children. The actress took a loan from a bank to buy an apartment, but there was still not enough money to buy a home. And she asked a friend to lend the rest, to which she agreed.

The total amount of the loan amounted to 154 thousand euros. For all the years that payments continued (and they continued until 2020), Epple paid only a third – 53 thousand euros. At the same time, she made contributions in rubles, which her friend agreed to accept. — payments were 25, 30 thousand rubles.

When Epple stopped paying, a friend approached her with a proposal to notarize the rest of the loan in the form of a receipt.

According to some reports, at first the actress agreed, but offered to meet with some of her acquaintances. In a conversation, the man said that the 2010 receipt was out of date.

After that, the lady turned to her lawyer and decided to go to court. The next hearing in this case will take place on November 11.
