Buryat actor Oleg Babuev passed away
Actor Oleg Babuev died at 70 years old. This was reported by the Buryaad Ynen news agency.
Babuev was born on January 20, 1954. He graduated from the Far Eastern Institute of Arts in Vladivostok, worked at the Buryat Academic Drama Theater. He has the title of People’s Artist of Buryatia.
The cause of death has not been announced.
The actor played in the comedy “Stop! Cut! To Baikal” and the drama “The Spirit of Baikal”. The premiere of a new film with his participation, “9 Seconds,” should take place in the fall.
Among Babuev’s stage works are “Blackbeard”, “Seventy Tales”, “We’ll Meet in That Life”, “Genghis Khan”, “The Threepenny Opera” and many others.
