Actor and poet Vitaly Ogorodnikov died after a “prophetic” role in a movie

Russian poet, actor and musician Vitaly Ogorodnikov died at the age of 66 from cancer. This was reported by the press service of the Writers’ Union of Russia.
Ogorodnikov was diagnosed with a terrible disease six months ago, shortly after his role in the short film “So that it wouldn’t be cold,” in which he dies in the story.
“Last summer, at 66 years old, Vitaly Ogorodnikov ran a marathon and finished far from last, and two months later doctors discovered he had stage 4 lung cancer,” the press service said.
They added that everyone until the last hoped for a good outcome. Ogorodnikov led a healthy lifestyle and went winter swimming. He even planned to travel around the world by bicycle, but when he reached Madrid, he realized that he would not be able to afford it.
In 2005 and 2010, Ogorodnikov published collections of poems “Kedrovnik” and “Sunny Frost”. In addition, he painted and played the guitar.
