Russian action artist Pavel Krisevich, who in 2021 shot himself with blanks right on Red Square, received 5 years in prison with a sentence in a general regime colony for hooliganism. This decision was made by the Tverskoy Court of Moscow, according to the Mash Telegram channel.
Krisevich shot himself with a blanked Makarov pistol. For this, he was detained by the police, taken to the Kitai-Gorod police department. The man escaped with burns to his face.
After this action, a criminal case was opened against Krisevich under the article of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Hooliganism”. He was threatened with up to seven years in prison, but the court sentenced Krisevich to five years.
