Acceptance of applications for deferment within the framework of the autumn call for IT specialists through the State Services portal will begin on July 24. About it reported press service of the Ministry of Digital Development in the Telegram channel.

“Employees of IT companies from July 24 to August 8 will be able to apply through the State Services for a deferment from military service as part of the autumn conscription,” the statement said.

It is clarified that the applications of employees will be displayed in the personal account of the head on the State Services portal, after verification and in the absence of errors, he will have to approve them. If it is not possible to submit such an application through the State Services, the employer can independently add the employee to this list.

Acceptance of applications will end on August 8, already on August 11, companies will have to send the generated lists to the Ministry of Digital Development. Until the end of the month they will be transferred to the Ministry of Defense. Postponement decisions will be made between 1 October and 31 December.

The Ministry of Digital Development reminded that in order to receive a deferral, an employee must work in an accredited IT company for at least 11 months by the start of the next call. The report notes that young people who have less work experience can also receive a deferral, provided that they were appointed to a position within a year after graduation. Other key criteria include Russian citizenship, age between 18 and 27, work under an employment contract, normal working hours, and higher education in a specialty from the list of deferrals.

This year, the autumn call will last from October 1 to December 31. Last year, 120,000 people were called up for service as part of the autumn draft. At that time, the Ministry of Defense emphasized that conscripts were not involved in the special operation, and the citizens who had already served were fired in a timely manner and sent home.
