About 800 karatekas compete for the “Eagle Cup”

Recently, the 10th All-Russian karate competitions solemnly, brightly and spectacularly opened in the capital of the Oryol region. This was reported in the press service of the regional council.
Approximately 800 athletes from 26 regions of Russia came to compete for the main prize.
For the first time, karatekas from Belarus demonstrate their skills at the tournament. Many of those who participate in competitions have already won in inter-regional, federal and international competitions.
Throughout the history of the Eagle Cup, thousands of athletes have attended the popular tournament. Including those who managed to achieve serious success in big-time sports.
Many records were set at these competitions, hundreds of awards were won, they fought honestly, stubbornly and with dignity. This year the competition is celebrating its 10th anniversary, but the tournament appeared 16 years ago.
Then it was not as large and popular as it is now. At the opening of the competition, the participants were presented with Eagle Cup souvenir medals.
And someone has already managed to get medals and cups for their skills. A total of 45 sets of awards will be played. By the way, about 100 Oryol residents participate in the tournament, and the strongest of them will become members of the regional team.
