Junior rock climbing championship of the North Caucasus Federal District ended in Kislovodsk

This Sunday in Kislovodsk, Stavropol Territory, the first rock climbing championship among juniors was held. This was announced by the head of the resort city Yevgeny Moiseev.
“Kislovodsk hosted the first rock climbing championship of the North Caucasian Federal District among juniors. About 50 athletes aged 10 to 15 took part in it. The competitions were held at the only certified standard rock climbing wall in the North Caucasus Federal District 18 meters high. It was built in Kislovodsk a year ago within the framework of the national project “Sport is the norm of life”, – said the head of Kislovodsk Evgeny Moiseev.
According to the results of the competition in the team standings, the first place was taken by athletes from the Stavropol Territory, the second – by the guys from the Republic of North Ossetia – Alania, and the third place was taken by young climbers from Kabardino-Balkaria.
