Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Social Development Anastasia Rakova reported that about 450 people applied for payments in connection with the terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall. She said this in an interview with the Rossiya 24 TV channel.

Ms. Rakova’s words are quoted by Interfax. Two thirds of those who applied for help have already received payments, the deputy mayor said. She noted that among those who applied there were families that required special care: in four families both parents died, in two more one parent died, and in several more families the parents were hospitalized.

“Each of these families is assigned an individual curator who accompanies the family, helps resolve all issues and adapt to a new life, which, alas, they will inevitably have to get used to,” Ms. Rakova said.

According to the decision of the authorities of Moscow and the Moscow region, payments to the families of those killed in the terrorist attack are set at 3 million rubles. Victims undergoing treatment in hospitals will be paid 1 million rubles, those undergoing outpatient treatment – 500 thousand. Monthly payments are provided for children whose parents died as a result of the terrorist attack. According to the latest data, 144 people were killed in the terrorist attack and 551 were injured.
