About 20 thousand residents of Vladivostok were left without water, heat and electricity due to accidents

Two accidents in Vladivostok’s utility networks led to a blackout of electricity, heat and water for 20 thousand city residents. This was reported by the press service of the Primorsky Territory prosecutor’s office, quoted by TASS.
According to the press service, the first accident occurred at about 11:25 (04:25 Moscow time) on November 9, 2023, which led to a power outage in apartment buildings on Krygina, Leonova, Saratovskaya, Sipiagina streets, as well as in Perekopsky Lane. The second accident occurred at about 11:50 (04:50 Moscow time) as a result of work on the main heating main, as a result of which 126 apartment buildings and 120 houses in the city were left without heating and hot water supply. The total number of citizens deprived of electricity, heat and hot water exceeds 20 thousand.
The prosecutor’s office of the Frunzensky district of Vladivostok is conducting an investigation into the emergency shutdown. During the inspection, compliance with legal requirements in the field of maintenance of electrical and heating networks, as well as compliance with regulatory deadlines for eliminating the accident will be assessed. The prosecutor’s office will also monitor the correctness of recalculation of payment for services not actually provided.
