About 15% of State Duma deputies have not yet filed income declarations for 2022

Most of the State Duma deputies – 86.6% – filed income declarations for 2022, the press service of the State Duma reported. There are three days left before the deadline for submitting declarations. On March 1, amendments came into force allowing State Duma deputies and senators not to publish their income and property declarations.
“To date, 86.6% of deputies have submitted their declarations. Declarations were submitted by all independent deputies, 88% of the deputies of the United Russia faction, 82.5% – from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, 85.7% – from the Just Russia – For Truth faction, 78.3% of the LDPR deputies and 85.7% of the deputies faction “New people”, — stated in the message press services.
On March 19, on the website of the State Duma, with a link to the Telegram channel of supporters of the State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin “Volodin Saratov”, data on his income were published. The report says that in 2022, Mr. Volodin’s income amounted to 80.9 million rubles, most of which is interest on deposits.
On February 6, President Vladimir Putin signed a law according to which the declarations of deputies and senators will be published in an anonymized form.
