As a result, residents of 150 houses in the Lugovoe planning area of ​​Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, as well as a kindergarten, were left without water. On the night of January 24-25, RVC-Sakhalin specialists were engaged in heating networks, emergency recovery work is ongoing.

A similar situation occurred in the village of Kirovsky, Tymovsky district. According to the information of the local administration, the resource-supplying organization MUP “Teplovik” has been working to find a water pipe break for the past few days. The work was complicated by abnormal frosts and significant snow cover.

“At the moment, it has been decided that on January 25, the specialists of MUP “Teplovik” will carry out an emergency branch of water supply and the institution will be provided with water,”— reported in the administration.

For the period of restoration work, the children were distributed to neighboring rural institutions.
