The Russian company ForseeTech has developed a VR platform for training specialists responsible for security in crowded places. The press service of the company told Vedomosti about this.
We are talking about places such as airports, train stations, subways, schools and large enterprises. Specialists are invited to undergo theoretical training, after which the acquired knowledge is applied in virtual reality. Participants gain experience in the field of profiling, train mindfulness and learn to remain vigilant.
“Moreover, the existing regulatory framework already allows, if not prescribes, the use of modern training and simulator complexes,” said ForseeTech CEO Artem Kuritsyn.
The Research Center for Corporate Security (ANO NITsKB) is responsible for the methodological basis of the project, and Way2Win, the developer of VR projects, is responsible for the technical part. When preparing training materials, advanced developments in the EdTech field and the expertise of leading industry practitioners were used, Anna Kulik, head of the NICKB and co-founder of ForseeTech, emphasized.
“VR solutions, in particular VR simulators, are fundamentally changing the approach to training specialists in various fields of professional activity. They help develop adaptability and observation, immerse you in situations as close as possible to “field conditions,” said Petr Tolochkov, CEO of Way2Win.
