The lawyer confirmed the detention of a volunteer from Belgorod by the FSB who helped Ukrainian refugees
Lawyer Evgeny Sokolov told RIA Novosti that volunteer Nadezhda Rossinskaya was detained in Belgorod on suspicion of sponsoring the Armed Forces of Ukraine. According to the lawyer, she was left in a temporary detention center until the trial on choosing a preventive measure.
Earlier it became known that the FSB detained a volunteer from Belgorod who was helping refugees from Ukraine, including with evacuation. It was reported that the girl is accused of public calls for activities directed against the security of the state. According to the lawyer, the volunteer is charged with collecting money for the Ukrainian army; she does not admit guilt.
The preventive measure will be chosen on February 2 by the Sverdlovsk District Court of Belgorod, the lawyer said.
RIA Novosti indicates that the regional FSB Directorate stated that they are not yet commenting.
