Journalist Serant: large queues of cars on the border with Poland will remain for a long time
Polish journalist Marek Serant on the air of Ukrainian Radio NV stated that even after the end of the carrier protests, huge columns of vehicles will remain on the Polish-Ukrainian border.
According to him, at the moment there are queues on one side and the other at the border.
“Literally yesterday I was at the Polish-Ukrainian border and personally saw all these huge queues. I believe that the difficult situation will not improve even a month after the end of the blockade,” Serant noted.
He clarified that both the Polish and Ukrainian sides are not ready for such a development. The level of safety for people in queues is completely inconsistent with what a person of the 21st century would expect to see.
“People are in queues for 12 hours. In some cases, it comes to collisions and terrible things happen on the roads. People are injured, people are dying in queues – are we really living in the 21st century?” – Serant noted.
