The music video for the song “So Beautiful” has disappeared from the YouTube channel and website of singer Sergei Lazarev. Before this, the St. Petersburg court saw it as LGBT propaganda. Access to the video filmed in 2017 is limited on YouTube, and the video is no longer available on the artist’s website. The singer himself has not yet commented on this information.

Yesterday, December 1, Vyborgsky District Court of St. Petersburg fined for 500 thousand rubles. Aiva TV channel for LGBT propaganda (Part 3 of Article 6.21 of the Administrative Code) in the video “So beautiful.” According to the administrative violation report, discontent was caused by a fragment with hands “belonging to two different people of the same sex.” It is argued that these frames can be perceived “as a tactile, sensory interaction of individuals broadcasting their homosexual preferences.”

In 2013, Russia passed a law banning the promotion of “non-traditional sexual relationships” among minors. This week, the Supreme Court, in a lawsuit filed by the Ministry of Justice, recognized the “international LGBT social movement” as extremist and banned it.
