In the Trans-Baikal Territory, investigators charged a 27-year-old resident of the village of Nerchinskiy Zavod with beating two disabled people from the Northern Military District. According to local residents, both victims of the SVO, each of whom lost a leg in the combat zone, come from the small village of Ivanovka, where there are only three streets and a little more than 500 people live. One of the fighters, Sergei Elgin, ended up in the NVO zone for mobilization. The second, Mikhail Taskin, fought as part of the Wagner PMC.
On August 5, they went to the neighboring village of Nerchinsky Zavod, which is located nine kilometers from Ivanovka, to erect a monument on the grave of Denis’s deceased friend.
“We are all the same age, we all grew up together in Ivanovka,” says Alexander, a resident of the village. – Denis is practically a brother to us. He and Sergey were called up for partial mobilization, they fought very close, 800 meters from each other, in the Zaporozhye direction. Denis is dead. We collected money for a monument to him by the whole village.
Mikhail ordered a monument in Chita, brought it in his car. He just recently bought a car on credit. As the locals say, “bombed for a penny.” It was the only source of income for the family.
Mikhail participated in the assault on Artemovsk, fought near Soledar. To pay tribute to a friend who died during the installation of the monument, he put on four of his medals.
When the former fighters finished their work, they went to a local cafe for dinner. Where they encountered a tipsy company. The thugs did not like the very fact of erecting a monument to a NVO fighter. The participants of the special operation were blamed for their military past. After they slowed down near the police station, thinking to write a statement, the offenders began to pursue them. They rammed the car. Jumping on the roof and hood, knocked out all the windows in it.
Having pulled out the invalids from the salon, they began to beat them. The awards were torn from Mikhail’s chest. They purposefully kicked him in the face. Two girls from the tipsy company urged the attackers in every possible way.
Mikhail got the most, on it, as they say, there is no living place now. He tried in every possible way to cover up Sergei, whose wounds had not yet fully healed.
Mikhail miraculously survived the phone, he managed to contact his wife Svetlana.
Misha has now been transferred to a hospital in Chita. There the governor took everything under his personal control. Sergei is under the care of doctors and relatives at home, says fellow villager Alexander. – He has not yet recovered from previous injuries, but here it is … They and the soldiers stormed the fortified area and ran into enemy machine guns. According to them from the AGS (30-mm automatic grenade launcher on the machine — Auth.) arrived. Sergei lost his leg and fingers.

– Yes, what is it. Simple scumbags. One was serving time for rape. They got drunk that evening and imagined themselves as heroes. One of the attackers, by the way, wanted to get into the Wagner PMC, but they did not take him.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Trans-Baikal Territory, after the conclusions of the forensic medical examination on the severity of harm to health to Mikhail Taskin, the issue of retraining for a more serious article of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation will be decided.
Against the instigators of the fight – Ivan Zyryanov and Sergey Piskarev – another criminal case was initiated for fakes about the Russian army, which provides for punishment of up to 7 years in prison.
I would also like to believe that the government of the Trans-Baikal Territory will help Mikhail Taskin and Sergey Elgin with rehabilitation and employment.
