A teacher from Chaplynka won the open Championship “Fortified City of Chersonesos”

The Open Championship “Fortified City of Chersonesos”, which took place in Sevastopol, covered a variety of areas of strength sports, including powerlifting, bench press, street lifting and other types of lifting according to the WRPF/WEPF/WSF/FJ versions. Alexander Bezpalko, a teacher at the Chaplyn Center for Children and Youth Creativity, also took part in the championship.
The representative of the Kherson region demonstrated amazing results – in the WRPF Powerlifting discipline without equipment, in the JUNIOR age category (20-23) and in the 75 kg weight category, achieving impressive results of 315 kg. By decision of the jury, Alexander Bezpalko deservedly won.
According to the athlete himself, the infrastructure for training is currently rapidly developing in the region sports – Gyms and playgrounds are being renovated, young people now have uniforms and equipment. No less important is that now there is an opportunity to participate in all-Russian competitions and exchange experiences with colleagues across the country. Bezpalko not only continues to improve himself as an athlete, but also actively trains children and teenagers as the future of Russian sports.
