The press service of the KSUA reports that a team of Kostroma agricultural students successfully competed in arm wrestling competitions, which were held in Izhevsk from February 7 to 10 as part of the XI Winter Universiade of Russian Agricultural Universities.
It was not easy for the Kostroma residents: after all, 18 teams from 54 educational institutions of the country reached the finals of the competition.
But despite the high competition, Artemy Rudakov, a student from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science of the Kyiv State Agricultural Academy, managed to take third place and received a bronze medal (which roughly corresponds to the title of Master of Sports).
Other Kostroma armwrestlers also achieved smaller (but also significant) results:
Vladislav Shevchenko (Faculty of Engineering and Technology) took 5th place (which confirmed the title of candidate for master of sports), Alexander Solovyov (Faculty of Architecture and Civil Engineering) took 8th place, and Arseny Smirnov (Faculty of Electrical Energy) took 10th place.
