A stubborn donkey came to visit Gaidai’s memorial evening

The stars, meanwhile, actively drank compote
An evening in memory of Leonid Gaidai was held at the Cinema House. Numerous stars were seen on the stage, including Dmitry Kharatyan, Yuri Chernov, Leonid Kanevsky, Leonid Yarmolnik and others. They sat at a large table that stood right on the stage: they toasted and performed.
At some point, singer Larisa Dolina appeared in this company, who demonstrated a slender figure in a short silver dress.
She sang “The January Blizzard Is Ringing” and drank a glass of “hot” on stage, which turned out to be compote. She herself reported this. Of course, one could not tear oneself away from the performances of the masters, but an equally interesting story was unfolding behind the scenes.
The organizers decided to bring a live donkey to the stage for a special entourage, which we all remember very well from Gaidai’s films. However, at some point, something went wrong: the donkey began to resist, stopping in the lobby of the Cinema House in the middle of the way to the stage. The assistants could not manage to move the animal either here or there. After several minutes of general torment, it was decided to leave the animal alone. Since the donkey did not want to go anywhere, they decided to carry it back. As a method, the descent was chosen with the help of red velvet barrier tapes, which usually limit the red carpet. There were no other means at hand. In the foyer there was a cry: “Who can help lower the donkey ?!”
The men lifted the donkey on ribbons: they passed them under the belly of the animal, threw the ends over their shoulders and thus lowered the stubborn to the exit. Thus, the performers on the stage did not get the pleasure of communicating with the donkey, but those spectators who miraculously ended up in the foyer had an indelible impression of going to the cinema.
