The Purovskaya weightlifter won a bronze medal at the Russian Cup, the Department of Physical Education and Sports of the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug reported on January 31.
“Alla Richter with a result of 200 kg in the double event took the third step of the podium among women in the 76 kg weight category. The athlete trains at the Avangard sports school under the leadership of Nikolai Sukhar,” the message says.
The Russian Weightlifting Cup for men and women takes place in Tula from January 26 to February 2. 222 athletes from 43 regions of the country are participating. Yamal is represented by six athletes.
