In Buryatia, an intermunicipal emergency regime has been introduced in the city of Ulan-Ude, Ivolginsky and Pribaikalsky districts due to the complications of the flood situation. As the head of Buryatia Aleksey Tsydenov said in his Telegram-canal, about 600 household plots are currently flooded, and in several residential buildings the water has risen above the floor level. A day earlier in Buryatia was flooded less than 50 plots.

“Today, work continues to undermine the ice and clean the river bed. Today we have three traffic jams: in the Voznesenivka area, Oshurkovo and Elovka-Tataurovo. Where the explosions were carried out, ice movement has already begun, there is a decrease in the level, but additional work is required. Such work continues today,” said Mr. Tsydenov.

According to his information, a damage assessment commission has begun working in the Ivolginsky district of the republic. Residents of flooded houses will begin to receive compensation in the amount of 10 thousand rubles from April 17. per person.

In addition, the regional authorities announced assistance to residents in drying their houses: heat guns will be provided free of charge, as well as fuel for their operation.
