Due to the flood and the threat of flooding, a state of emergency was introduced in the Zverinogolovsky municipal district of the Kurgan region. Residents were asked to prepare to evacuate.
As reported in the telegram channel of the regional government, the decree regulating the emergency situation was signed by the head of the municipality, Marina Pankratova.
The emergency zone covers the villages of Proryvnoye, Ozernoye, Zverinogolovskoye, Bugrovoye, and the villages of Verkhnyaya Alabuga and Redut. The reason is a sharp rise in water in the Tobol River in the area of these settlements.
Residents were asked to take documents, valuables, equipment and evacuate in advance. Let us remind you that in the Kurgan region itself there is now a high alert regime.
