A sports festival for people with disabilities was held at the Grinn sports complex as part of the All-Russian Decade of Disabled People. More than 100 participants from Oryol and the Oryol region took part in the competition, reports the press service of the city administration.
The participants showed a high level of skill in sports disciplines, despite their physical limitations. Table tennis, darts, hurling and futsal were the main sports in which participants competed. Many of them set themselves the task of winning and showing their strength and endurance. In total, about 14 sets of medals and 30 cups were played.
Such sports events are important not only for the participants, but also for the entire society. They allow people with disabilities to demonstrate their athletic skills, increase self-esteem and improve physical fitness.
