A sports complex “Northern Character” will be built in Tazovsky: there will be no swimming pool in the regional center due to dirty water

A new sports complex “Northern Character” will be built in Tazovsky, the head of the Tazovsky district, Viktor Yugai, announced this during his stream on September 29.

“There was a question about whether we would build a sports complex with a swimming pool. There are no plans for a swimming pool in Tazovsky in the near future, first we need to solve the problem with dirty water, this is a lot of work to reconstruct the water supply for families, we have already started doing it – not only in Tazovsky, but also in Antipayut. At the end of this year we will open a new one in the regional center modern hall for team sports. Next year we will begin the construction of the “Northern Character” universal sports complex; design work began this year,” said Victor Yugay.

By the way, he spoke separately about the problem with clean drinking water in Tazovsky. According to him, the reason is secondary pollution, that is, the water deteriorates due to rusty pipes that have not been replaced for more than 20 years.

“Our water treatment facilities exceed the standard three times, that is, the water coming out of it is of sufficient quality and meets sanitary standards. But it gets into rusty pipes, and secondary pollution occurs in the networks. This year, we began work on the reconstruction of networks as part of a targeted investment program,” said the head of the Tazovsky district.

He noted that this year about 2.6 kilometers of utility networks were repaired in the regional center. The work will continue next year – according to Viktor Yugay, the district has funding for this.

Previously, they wanted to solve the problem by building water pipeline from Kharpbut after calculating the operating costs, a more economical option was chosen – construction water treatment facilities on the Hanmei River and construction of a water pipeline.

The head of Labytnanga Marina Treskova promised that pure water will come to the homes of citizens in 2024.
