A shooting tournament in memory of the fallen special forces of the Russian Guard was held in Ulan-Ude

In the capital of Buryatia, an All-Russian shooting tournament was held in memory of employees of the Bars SOBR of the Russian Guard Directorate who died in the line of duty. 65 athletes from 14 teams from our region, Irkutsk region, Transbaikal, Krasnoyarsk and Primorsky territories took part in the competition.
The competition began with a minute of silence. The mother of the deceased police captain Vladimir Budozhapov, Valentina Dari-Tsyrenovna, was presented with flowers and expressed gratitude
The event continued with a demonstration of skill in using a carbine. Members of the Practical Shooting Federation from the Angara region won the team competition. Representatives of Buryatia took second place, and third place went to the team from Transbaikalia. The winners and runners-up received cups and diplomas.
The Chairman of the Federation of Practical Shooting of the Republic of Belarus, Sergei Tuluev, presented those who fulfilled the standards with certificates of masters of sports and candidates for master of sports.
“The experience gained at these competitions will be useful during a special military operation,” noted the acting commander of the Bars SOBR, police colonel Iosif Pikhaev.
