Now he can study remotely from home
The district court of the city of Lipetsk released home a teenager who is suspected of preparing a terrorist attack. The boy spent almost six months in a pre-trial detention center, where he did not have the opportunity to study.
As MK previously reported, a schoolboy from the Moscow region came to his grandmother (she, by the way, is a former chairman of the court, and in general everyone in the family is lawyers), where, on instructions received through a social network from a certain “Igor,” he photographed a mosque, allegedly with the aim of setting it on fire in the future. . According to the boy, he imagined all this as a quest and thought of bringing the police to the meeting with “Igor”. Probably, “Igor” turned out to be a provocateur, because as soon as the teenager completed the first part of the tasks, he was detained. The court chose the strictest measure of restraint. A 15-year-old schoolboy, instead of studying in the ninth grade with his peers, was kept in a cell in a Lipetsk pre-trial detention center. By the way, the administration of the detention center was unable to organize training for him (even in a remote format).
The other day, a response came from the Russian Investigative Committee to a request about the legality of keeping a teenager in a pre-trial detention center and checking for provocations. The RF IC promised to look into it. And the court on Thursday, December 14, released the young man under house arrest. Now students will have the opportunity to study remotely from home.
