An outbreak of intestinal infection was recorded at a school in Chukotka. TASS reports this with reference to the district department of Rospotrebnadzor.

Until October 10, due to an intestinal infection, students in the village of Egvekinot were transferred to distance learning. Over the course of a month, the infection was detected in 30 children, as well as two catering staff. They were temporarily suspended from work.

The department notes that quarantine was already introduced at the school from September 14 to 20. Three patients required hospitalization.
