In honor of the 85th anniversary of Sambo, senior inspector of the professional and service training group, candidate master of sports Yuriy Bragin and senior instructor of the Omega special purpose department, master of sports Dmitry Nesterov conducted training in this type of martial arts. The participants were employees of security departments and duty shifts.
According to the press service of the Federal Penitentiary Service, after the warm-up, the athletes worked on their technique. The emphasis was shifted to self-insurance in case of a fall and precise execution of Sambo techniques.
“In the institutions of our Directorate, special attention is paid to combat fighting techniques. Employees take tests as part of their career training,” noted Bragin.
Earlier, the results of the second day of competition at the Khakassia Cup appeared. The first start of the season after injury was made by three-time Olympic champion Alexander Bolshunov.
