A sambist from the Tula sports school took third place at the championship of the Central Federal District.
Sambo competitions among boys and girls aged sixteen to eighteen years were held from the first to the third of December in the Moscow region.
“On the first day of the competition in the weight category up to 53 kilograms, Vladislav Nikonov, a student of the Yunost MBU SShOR, won a bronze medal and received the right to represent the Tula region at the Russian championship, which will be held in Vladivostok,” the regional Ministry of Sports told the editorial office.

Based on the results of the tournament, a Tula team will be formed to participate in tournaments under the auspices of the Russian MMA Union.
